Call for Registrations: Nuclear Politics – Study Programme 12-16 May 2014

We cordially invite you to a study programme in Vienna from 12 – 16 May 2014, focusing on nuclear safety and security, nuclear weapons, disarmament and arms control. Please see the preliminary programme to obtain more information about the initiative.

The programme includes visits to:

– International and (non-) governmental organizations (eg. United Nations Vienna)
– Academic institutions (eg. Austrian Institute for International Affairs)
– Technical facilities (eg. Atomic Power Plant Zwentendorf)

The initiative is student-led and will comprise a group of 30 people. Places will be given on a first-come-first-serve basis. A fee of € 40,- will be charged. All briefings will be given in English. There will be some social activities in the evenings.
The study excursion will be guided by Mr Fabian Stricker, Mr Clemens Binder and Mr Dominik Rastinger. Our goals are to identify thematic linkages, institutional synapses, network and ultimately strengthen the curricula of young professionals.
